30/30 Challenge: Day 13

women's devotional bible #3030challenge

As mentioned in my earlier post, I’m really excited about getting back to Church. Not only am I going back, I’m going full force.

I did some studying on what the Bible says about Church and these two verses stood out to me:

  • Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. (Colossians 3:16)
  • Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage- with great patience and careful instruction. (2 Timothy 4:2)

I feel God is encouraging me to play a more active role in my faith.

You’re not alone in this endeavor. I’m doing the same as well and been taking the advice: be prepared always.

Many lives will be impacted by your purposeful decision. Stay Blessed.

  2. Hebrews 10:25 is perhaps the most compelling of all verses on church attendance. “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” It is so essential in these days that the church become strong again!

  3. When the Divine calls, many do not listen, regardless of which Faith or Religion they are following, purely because they are so wrapped up in themselves to hear. Go where he leads, but always be true to yourself, that is how we really serve the Divine who call on us.
