  1. And I’ll assure you as a Christian and a pathologist, it is the spiritual root of most cancers and of many non-cancerous chronic dis-eases. They are the “jailers” the Lord says God the Father will turn us over to “to be tortured” by unless if we forgive our brother from the heart (Mt. 18:21-35).

  2. Unforgiveness/bitterness is so important that Jesus addressed it in and immediately following His model prayer (what is referred to as the Lord’s Prayer). Unforgiveness/bitterness is the spiritual root of many chronic dis-eases and many cancers. These dis-eases and their associated spirits of infirmity are the “tormenters” Jesus referred to in the parable of the unmerciful servant (Matt. Ch 18) that God the Father will turn us over to if we do not repent and forgive our brothers (see the last two verses).

  3. This is so true and I have definitely struggled with this with one friend. There are times that I do want to forgive her but then bitterness sets in again. I know with Christ I can forgive her, but then the claws of deceit dig in and I lose that desire. I pray that God gives me the strength to fully forgive her one day as I do miss our friendship but I know that our friendship will never be the same as it once was.
