  1. Double Amen!

Paul wrote in Romans 7: 22-25

For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

We are all doomed without Christ.

  2. I always enjoy signs like this that start me thinking… His statement is true and false.

The true side is an incredible blessing; those “in Christ”; those redeemed by His blood will never be outside of His love.

However, while it is true that “God so loved THE WORLD”, there can come a time when the lost “cross the line” and presume upon His love too often.

There is coming a time (see The Revelation of Jesus Christ) when people will be wishing for God’s mercy, but it is too late. Also consider Noah’s time, when God shut the door of the ark… It was God’s decision to shut the door, and the people outside surely cried and begged to be let in… but, alas!, it was too late.

  3. Hello Rae,

The Creator of the universe and all life within it has a need for anger? I doubt it. We should apply the discernment we were granted by God to distinguish between His truth and the lies of men. Capital punishment (executions) outlined in Leviticus 20 were devised by men not God since they are in conflict with the sixth commandment, “Thou shalt not kill.” The two Great Commandments are the truth.

    Peace and love to all,

  4. Hi Rae!

    Great blog!

Just in case you’re wondering I’ve decided to reblog you 24 times and then explain by writing the next post. I’ve also been doing what I call Your Support Matters Angel Giveaways through Amazon. I have no idea if you or your readers would be interested, but most prizes are faith-oriented books (So far I have given away Kindle books exclusively). Today I created YSM Angel Giveaway #100(!) (the link is below) and I often send out tweets to let people know. I believe I have seen an upsurge in people visiting my Your Support Matters blog. http://bit.ly/2YSMAG100 Have a wonderful (be filled with wonder!) day! –Also–Thanks for reminding us about Spurgeon! I really enjoyed reading about him and his conversion/deepening of faith. God bless you! * Delight yourself in the Lord & He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 *

  5. I agree with this thought on “God turns from His wrath, but never turns from His love”. The simple explanation to this reality is that love is God’s nature. Even in our natural state as humans, we can turn from a lot of things, but our true nature. Thanks for reminding us of God’s unending love.
You’re deeply loved, highly favoured and greatly blessed, because you’re a life-giving spirit just like Jesus.

  6. By God’s amazing grace He sets sinners (like me) free! Though I/we deserve wrath, He extends love and provides us salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. What an Awesome God we serve!
